About Elegant Events by Maria

Hi! I’m Maria, the lead event coordinator here at Elegant Events. I started this company 18 years ago, but have had a passion for event planning for as long as my memory goes back. I remember being thrilled when I helped plan my senior prom back in the 80’s!

That passion for event planning only grew stronger as I got older. When planning my own 700 person Serbian wedding, I planned every last detail. From the hot pink bridesmaids dresses to the napkins on the table, I planned and picked out everything! I am a teacher by education, but always found myself planning events and fundraisers for charities and hospitals so 18 years ago, I opened up Elegant Events by Maria. Since then, I have planned thousands of events.

From 10 person elopements in Vail, CO to 500 person backyard tent weddings, my team and I have seen and done it all. I work with a team of assistants and day of coordinators to help events stay on track.
